About Us

Irene Moreno has always had a love affair with art in general and fine and decorative arts in particular. Growing up in a house filled with art objects and family treasures, she has learned to cherish their beauty, understand their uniqueness and, ultimately, appreciate their value.

In 2002 Irene Moreno obtained her Diploma of Competence in the field of Antiques and Collectibles from the Asheford Institute of Antiques. She has worked in the field of appraising art and antiques ever since. In 2005 she completed the USPAP course and passed the required examination.

In 2006 Irene Moreno has been awarded the ISA Accredited Member status by the International Society of Appraisers. This accreditation is achieved by undertaking an intensive course of study in appraisal principles and passing rigorous examinations on the theory and practice of professional appraising as well as on ethical standards of practice and legal matters.
